52nd General Council of the Reformed Episcopal Church
The 52nd General Council of the Reformed Episcopal Church was held October 22-24, 2008
at Church of Our Lord in Victoria, British Columbia.
Church of Our Lord is the oldest REC church building in North America. It was built in 1874.
The 52nd General Council was a wonderful time of fellowship, from business sessions to the Choir singing at one of the worship services.
A work day at the church took place on Saturday, October 18, 2008. We thank George Yapp our Junior Warden for organizing the Work Day and thanks to all who came and helped with the various projects.
The 102nd Synod of the Diocese of Mid-America was held in Victoria, British Columbia on Tuesday, October 21, 2008.
The 52nd General Council of the Reformed Episcopal Church took place October 22, 23, 24, 2008 in Victoria, British Columbia.
The ladies of the Woman’s Guild held their annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, November 1, 2008. The ladies were raising money for missions. We thank all those who attended. The spaghetti was delicious as always.
The Rev. John S. Baird, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2008. John was a dedicated minister in the Reformed Episcopal Church for many years. Following his retirement he faithfully attended St. Andrew’s, where he will be greatly missed. John is survived by his daughter Betsy Mayer and son Jonathan, along with three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Sunday, December 14, 2008, after morning worship during coffee hour downstairs in the Parish Hall. Sponsored by the Woman’s Guild. All proceeds go to missions.
